Mixing Instructions:
Pour 80 lb. bag into wheelbarrow or mortar pan. Form a crater in the center of the dry mix for the addition of clean potable water. For multiple bags mix with a mechanical mixer.
Mix to a workable mix. Add more water if needed. Avoid a ‘soupy’ consistency.
Excess water reduces strength and durability and may cause cracking or scaling.
Curing:
In hot or windy conditions keep the concrete damp for curing.
Cover with plastic to retain moisture.
If appears to become too dry remove the plastic re-moisten the surface and recover.
Caution:
Air, mix and substrate temperatures should be between 40°F (4°C) and 90°F (32°C)
Should be no rain in the forecast for 24 hours of application.
Do not over trowel or over water.
Protect from freezing for 48 hours.
